How do I use Allianz WeatherSafe to its full potential?

In order to set weather warnings and be able to access satellite and radar images for your chosen locations, you have to register on the Allianz WeatherSafe website or through the iPhone/Android app.


How can I select locations for my weather warnings list?

After you have registered and are logged in (using your username and password), you can then choose your three selected locations for weather warnings.

Click on “Locations” in the main menu. This displays your selected locations or you can also look for new weather locations here. Click on the “+” sign beside the search result. The search result is then added to your (selected locations) list.

If you click on the “checkbox” symbol in your list, that location is marked as a “warning” location and you will then receive weather warning notifications for this location. If you click it again the weather warning notification is deactivated.


How do I get weather warnings by E-Mail?

To receive weather warnings by E-Mail, go to the Allianz WeatherSafe site and click on “Settings” -> “Notifications” by E-Mail. Click on “None” to turn off the notification service.

If you are using an iPhone or Android app, push notifications are activated by default on your phone. If you wish to switch from push notifications to E-Mail notifications, go to More -> Settings -> Notifications in your iPhone/Android app and select E-Mail.


How do I delete my Allianz WeatherSafe Account?

If you wish to delete your account completely, please contact Allianz WeatherSafe support at allianz-weathersafe@meteogroup.de. When the account is deleted your personal data, the selected locations and all settings are wiped from the system.


How can I change my personal details?

If you wish to change your account details e.g. your E-Mail address, please contact Allianz WeatherSafe support at allianz-weathersafe@meteogroup.de.


How do I change my password?

Once you are logged on to the Allianz WeatherSafe site, it is possible to change your password whenever you wish to do so. Go to “Settings” -> “Change Your Account Password” – or else go to “More” -> “Change Password” if you are using the iPhone or Android app. Simply enter your existing password as well as your new password. You must then confirm the new password.

If you have forgotten your password click on “Login” (or “More” if using the iPhone or Android app) and then on “Forgot Password”. Enter the E-Mail address you used to register with Allianz WeatherSafe.

We will then send you your new password by E-Mail. You need to use your new password the next time you log in as it will have been changed straight-away for your security.
